Engineering a Statement.

In July 2026, just one month after our commercial launch, Ampèra EV Ltd is putting British innovation on the world stage.

Starting from our home in Hull and tracking down the coast to Hastings, we are challenging the current Guinness World Record. This isn't just about a number—it's about providing independent validation that the Ampèra EVO is the most efficient A1 motorcycle ever built.

The Route

Hull to Hastings via 401 miles of grueling public roads.

Hub Drive

93% efficiency via direct-drive hub motor technology.

The Journey

401 Miles. Zero Emissions.

The attempt begins at our headquarters in Hull, tracking the eastern and southern coastlines of England to push the Ampèra EVO through a grueling real-world endurance test. We've chosen a route that reflects true British riding conditions—not a sterilized test track.

Official Route Waypoints

Humber Bridge Boston King's Lynn Lowestoft Southend-on-Sea Margate Hastings
  • Real-World Variables Navigating down the coast, the EVO will face varying elevations, severe coastal crosswinds, and unpredictable traffic, proving real-world reliability.
  • The Coastal Corridor A punishing mix of sweeping dual carriageways, tight coastal B-roads, and undulating tarmac specifically selected to push our HyperCore hub motor's thermal and regenerative limits.

The Physics of Range.

Record-breaking range is a result of calculated efficiency, not just battery size.

To maintain the record pace, our HyperCore hub motor operates at peak efficiency. Combined with a 0.28 drag coefficient and our 160-width EV-specific rear tyre, the EVO minimizes rolling resistance while maximizing tarmac contact.

Mechanical Power Req. 205 Watts
Electrical Draw (inc. Sentinel/HALO) ~270 Watts
Theoretical Maximum Range 510 Miles
The Real-World Buffer: Even applying a massive 20% penalty for wind and elevation, the EVO is mathematically capable of 400+ miles—meeting our exact target for Hastings.
